All purchases made at Fikahuset are shipped directly from Sweden.

Shipping fee is 1,600 yen nationwide.
(The maximum weight of the product is 1.7 kg)

There are weight restrictions as the item will be shipped via Postnord, the Swedish post office.

The total weight of the items can be up to 1.7 kg.

Rest assured, the weight will be automatically calculated by the online store's system.

*The set weight of the product may differ from the actual weight as it also takes into account the volume.
Example: A tea bag box is lightweight but takes up space, so it is set larger than its actual weight.


About purchasing coffee

Swedish coffee is large, so each piece usually weighs 450-500g.
Therefore, a maximum of 3 coffees can be packed in each package (up to 1.7kg) to be shipped.

What if I want to buy more?

It is possible to send multiple items through the Swedish post office Postnord.

Shipping costs vary depending on the quantity of boxes.

  • For 2 pieces: 3,200 yen
    (1.7 kg or more up to 3.4 kg)
  • For 3 pieces: 4,800 yen
    (3.4 kg or more up to 5.1 kg)

Shipping charges will automatically change depending on the weight of the product. Shipping charges will be displayed on the checkout screen.

Regarding delivery

I'll take a moment

We will ship directly from Sweden to Japan by international airmail.

Once shipped, it usually arrives within 7-10 business days. *1

Shipped by the Swedish post office Postnord →Once it arrives in Japan, Japan Post will deliver it to your home.

We have selected a shipping method that allows tracking. *2

Although we take great care in packaging and preparing for shipping, there is a possibility that some damage may occur during transportation or due to the shipping company's responsibility after it is handed over to the shipping company.

Considering that the product arrived all the way from Sweden, we kindly ask for your understanding if there are any scratches or dents that do not interfere with the use of the product.

    It will take 7-10 business days after notification of shipping completion. Saturdays, Sundays and Swedish public holidays are not included. Depending on the timing, it may take 14 to 16 business days. There may also be delays due to weather conditions.

    Swedish post offices are extremely busy from Thanksgiving Day (late November) to Christmas, so it is expected that it will take more than twice as long as usual. Please note.

    Since the package can be tracked after it has been registered, it may take several hours for the tracking number to be reflected after the package has been shipped.

How do I track it?

Tracking is possible by entering the tracking number on the Swedish or Japanese post office website.

After receiving the shipping notification email, enter the tracking number provided in the email into the Swedish Post Office website or Japan Post website to check.

The tracking number is listed under "Confirm your order" in the shipping notification email.

PostNord SE It consists of 9 digits of letters and numbers following the tracking number.

The tracking number is linked to the Swedish Post Office website , so you will be automatically redirected to the page.

You can also click on "Svenska" in the upper right corner to display in English.

The delivery route will be displayed at the bottom. However, it will not be updated unless you scan the barcode affixed to the package, so it is usually updated only 2-3 times after receiving the package, shipping from Sweden, and arriving in Japan .

For reference, the time it took from shipping to delivery for the package we sent this time was 9 days (6-7 business days).

What happens after arriving in Japan?

The Japanese post office will deliver it to your home.

Operating on Swedish time

Fikahuset is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Swedish public holidays.

We may also take long breaks during summer vacation, Christmas, etc. In that case, we will make an announcement in the "Notice" section.

Generally ships within 2-3 business days.

I cannot ship the package immediately because I have to take it to the Swedish post office. Depending on the timing, you may have to wait, but we appreciate your understanding.

Also, considering the environment, we use recycled materials for the cushioning materials used in packaging.

About customs duties

Important thing

All purchases made at Fikahuset go through customs as they are airmailed from Sweden.

If the total price of the product is 16,600 yen or more, customs duty and consumption tax will be charged.

In the case of personal import (for personal use/consumption), if the total price of the product is 16,600 yen or less, import duty and consumption tax are exempted.

Please check the total amount when shopping.

However, if customs determines that the import does not fall under the category of personal import (for example, if the destination is a corporation or store name), customs duties, consumption tax, and customs fees may be imposed even if the amount is within the tax exemption range. there is.

In addition, if the total price of the product is 10,000 yen or less, it is generally exempt from customs duty and consumption tax, regardless of whether it is for commercial or personal use.

How much does it cost for commercial use?

If it is not for personal use, it is considered commercial.

If the total price of the product is 10,000 yen or more, customs duty and consumption tax will be charged.

For commercial purposes, if the total price of the product is 10,000 yen or less, import duties and consumption tax are generally exempted.

For commercial imports of 10,000 yen or more, import duties and consumption taxes will be charged.

The import duty for coffee and tea is 15% because the simplified tax rate is applied, and for tea it is 20% because it is classified as general tax.

In addition, consumption tax, etc. will be added to the total amount including shipping charges.

However, our shop cannot accurately answer questions regarding customs duties, so if you have any questions, please contact your Japanese customs office.

If customs duties are imposed

First, please check whether the total price of the product does not exceed 16,666 yen (for personal use).

If you have been taxed even though the amount has not exceeded the amount, please contact the customs office.

Please note that if customs duties are imposed, import duties, consumption taxes, customs fees, etc. will be borne by the customer.

If tax is imposed, please pay directly to the postal worker when you receive the item. Please note that even if you refuse or do not receive the product, we will not be able to refund the product price.
